Sound stored as discrete units
Time Capsules treats sound as a material that can be stored and activated.
Audio fragments are embedded within physical units and remain inactive until triggered. Sound is distributed across multiple elements, allowing non-linear sequences to emerge.
Each unit functions as a container of time, holding fragments that can be accessed independently.
Each work is signed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Time Capsules received a Special Award at the Arte Laguna Prize 2025: an artist residency at NY20+ in Chengdu, Sichuan, from November to December 2026.
