Urban Remains brings together materials taken from construction and demolition contexts and repositions them as independent elements.

Fragments of concrete, stone, and ceramic are removed from their original systems and presented without restoration. Their surfaces retain traces of use, breakage, and time, which remain visible as part of the work.

Rather than reconstructing architecture, the project isolates specific functions: support, containment, retention and redefines them at a reduced scale. Each piece operates as a partial system, no longer connected to a larger structure but still carrying its logic.

The work explores a shift from architecture to object, where matter is not reused for efficiency but recontextualized to reveal its condition.
