Rubinetterie Stella, alongside artists of international renown, explores the magic of water through the installation “Flow through the colors {match with the star}” during the Milan Design Week 2024. Conceived and designed by Elena Pelosi for The Meraviglia agency, this installation highlights the unique and precious nature of every water droplet, protected by the SIDE collection faucets, designed by Meneghello Paolelli. Through colors, scents, sounds, and lighting effects, this installation unfolds across five emotional spaces, each representing the remarkable color variations that water assumes in five of the world’s most unique and remote locations. Each “island” within the installation emerges from the creativity and participation of world-famous artists who contribute to the customization of the fountains.

Lake Rotorua in New Zealand, with its intense yellow color, is represented by “The Yellow” island.
The works of Elena Pelosi “Urban seeds: Recomposed Stones” enrich this golden space, which, through the clever use of recycled materials, tells stories of resilience, symbiosis, and regeneration
.

“Urban seeds: Recomposed Stones” is an evocative series of stoneware sculptures crafted from recycled construction waste. This artwork serves as a profound reflection on urban regeneration, focusing on the ever-changing landscape of cities and the preservation of their memories. Specifically, it delves into the dynamic evolution of Milan, a city constantly redefining itself through layers of history and innovation.
