“In a Relationship”
For a decade, Open House Milano has been creating connections between citizens and architecture, transforming the discovery of extraordinary places into an experience of authentic relationship. This tenth edition celebrates the ongoing dialogue between urban spaces, people and communities, strengthening the sense of belonging and inviting everyone to rediscover the city as a living, shared entity.

Behind a 1917 façade, designer Elena Pelosi has created a home-atelier that celebrates light and memory. Large pointed-arch windows flood the space with natural light, while the original red bricks define the chromatic palette.

The home is conceived as a kind of travel diary, populated with recovered furniture and self-produced works, from art books to fragments of design. An hortus conclusus of eclectic plants protects the domestic dimension and invites visitors to discover a personal and coherent narrative of creative living.
