archiportale – Open House Milan 2024 is coming

Now in its ninth edition, Open House Milan returns, the event that promotes broad and unprecedented access to the city, places, people, projects, systems and ideas that define Milan and its future.

During the weekend, 100 sites will open to showcase a reimagined Milan, featuring everything from major urban masterplans to intimate private homes and studios. A spotlight is turned on the production spaces, from former manufacturing areas to contemporary fablabs. Notably, visitors can explore the Fornace Curti in Barona, an ancient kiln founded in the 1400s and now a vibrant terracotta village. Renowned figures like Bianca Maria Visconti and Keith Haring have frequented this site. The ateliers here, hosting artists and artisans working with ceramics, paper, wood, textiles, and more, capture the authentic and vibrant spirit of Milan.
