In the rooms of Palazzo Morando – Costume Moda Immagine, in the heart of the Milanese fashion district, “Elle Decor Grand Hotel” is inaugurated.

“Design Therapy” by Matteo Thun & Partners provides a clear vision of what the hotel of tomorrow will be like, characterized by spaces for well-being, food and entertainment.

“Elle Decor Grand Hotel. Design Therapy” occupies the spaces of Palazzo Morondo . The outdoor spaces are characterized by a path surrounded by greenery, which involves sight, smell and touch. Nature from the outside reaches inside where, in the Lounge, a Golden Gallery made of golden grasses stands out and where guests can have lunch and dinner at the restaurant on long tables between grove niches and the pergola effect of the mulberry trees. The internal courtyard of the palace is instead transformed into a garden which houses a suspended Hortus with large spheres of vegetables. All the other rooms on the ground floor are dedicated to body care, with the installation of an innovative sauna, Turkish bath and gym.

Elle Decor Grand Hotel is an idea by Elle Decor Italia, now in its fourth edition. The project is always a reflection on the constant evolution of the concept of hôtellerie. “Design Therapy” is a possible concept of hospitality that “involves all the senses: from taste, in the restaurant, which offers a menu attentive to the nutritional aspect, developed with the advice of Professor Nicola Sorrentino, to the touch, to be tested on the materials used for interior design, to the sense of smell, 100% tickled in the surprising Aroma room. The scent thus becomes a source of well-being and part of the space, an element of the environment like furnishings, lamps and plants.”, they explain. by the Matteo Thun & Partners studio, with offices in Milan and Shanghai. “Elle Decor Grand Hotel. Design Therapy” represents a true pop-up hotel open to all where you can experience an innovative menu, an aperitif or get advice on wellness and body well-being.
