Cassiopea is a sculptural necklace by designer/artist Elena Pelosi inspired by the constellation that shares its name. Part of an international cooperation project by IL NODO ONLUS supporting children in Cambodia, this piece embodies our shared humanity.

“We are all under the same sky, united by the same stars that have guided humanity for millennia.” The necklace symbolizes global unity and shared opportunities. Available in brass, bronze, or silver.

Each Cassiopea necklace directly supports IL NODO’s transformative work in Cambodia. 100% of proceeds fund education and training programs we call “life projects.” As designers, we recognized the potential of Khmer artistic tradition to empower new generations.

Our Art Workshop (Bottega dell’Arte) brings social design to life, preserving Khmer identity while creating opportunities for youth. Students learn traditional craftsmanship from local masters and innovative design from international experts, developing skills that bridge heritage and future marketability.

Through social design, we enhance local artisans’ natural abilities, creating products with global appeal while maintaining cultural authenticity. This approach doesn’t just produce beautiful objects—it creates sustainable livelihoods.
