Tessuti is a set of matte white earthenware underplates designed by Elena Pelosi, inspired by furnishing fabrics.

In a kind of metalanguage, the tablecloth becomes a plate: the texture of a fabric is imprinted three-dimensionally into the white clay, then covered with an opaque, lead-free crystalline glaze. The effect is that of a starched fabric, light but tactile.

Each plate has an irregular border of 1 to 3 cm with a bronze-coloured edge, and each one is different, made from a different fabric. Signed EP, with a stamped and signed certificate and a bag of the original wild clay.
